MIDDLE LEVEL AND SENIOR EXECUTIVES/SPECIALISTS
A template form has been designed to assist applicants to present information
which can best describe their suitability for positions in the
Nigerian telecommunications industry.
It is a preliminary screening form which helps to determine if an
applicant would be invited to undergo an aptitude test for the
position he/she is seeking.
It is expected that all information given here are correct. Any
incorrect information will nullify the processes even after the
applicant would have resumed work at a new place. A wrong information
supplied at this or any other stage will render an appointment
nullified without any compensation and infact with possibility of a
prosecution if the wrong information offends the laws of Federal
Republic of Nigeria.
All appointments sought via this process do not require that the
applicant knows anybody nor pays any fees to anyone from beginning to
the end of the process. So far, a number of the candidates who were
tested and interviewed have been placed in one job or the other in the
past few months within the telecom industry. Those who were qualified
but showed poor knowledge in the demand of the industry are being
assisted through progressive training to improve them and eventually
place them, provided they show the required intellectual promise. The

and very senior executives.

CYBERSCHUUL’S JOB PLACEMENT PROGRAMME
The Job Placement Programme is a Job Search Assistance programme for
telecommunications engineers who desire to seek employment in the
Nigerian telecom industry.
There are several ways by which one may benefit from the programme: -
1. Direct Placement
A person seeking employment applies for a Job Search Form from
tec@cyberschuul.com
Upon short listing, he/she is invited to sit for a JOB SEARCH TEST. A
score of 50% and above earns the applicant a recommendation for direct
employment to telecommunication firms in the industry. The process is
entirely free of charge. Up to date, 23 engineers have been placed
into employment in this manner.
2. Placement after Successful Induction
Training
A person who scores below 50% in CYBERSCHUUL’s JOB SEARCH TEST may
undergo either the Induction Training or the Enhanced Induction
Training. There is an examination after each training and a
Certificate of Proficiency is earned. Those who score 50% and above
are recommended to telecommunication firms for employment.
3. ENHANCED INDUCTION TRAINING FOR TELECOM
ENGINEERS
The enhanced induction training is organised in collaboration with
NITEL Training Center. It is a two-week intensive and hands-on
programme which includes training in digital switching over and above
the content of the Induction training [See para. 4 below]. Details of
the training are : The Engineer in the Industry, Communication Media
Options, GSM, CDMA & Other Standards, WLL, PDH, SDH, GSM, GPRS,
Satellites Communication, VSAT, GPS, Optical Fibre, and Digital
Switching. It is a hands-on training and holds at NITEL Training
CENTRE Oshodi. The Course Fee is N75,000.00 per person.
4. INDUCTION TRAINING FOR TELECOM ENGINEERS
The induction training is designed to equip telecom engineers with the
quality of knowledge required for today’s telecommunication
practitioner and to get them sufficiently familiar with today’s
telecommunication vocabulary. It is a one-week intensive training
which covers telecommunication transmission mainly. The syllabus
includes The Engineer in the Industry, Communication Media Options,
GSM, CDMA & Other Standards, WLL, PDH, SDH, GSM, GPRS, Satellites
Communication, VSAT, GPS, and Optical Fibre.
The course is held at THE EXECUTIVE CYBERSCHUUL and the Course Fee is
N50,000.00 per person.
5. TRAINING NOTES
A person who desires to obtain the training notes only without
attending the course can purchase the Full notes of five volumes,
namely: Complete TEC Course Notes; Transmission Design Facts & Hints;
Earth Station Basics, Digital Switching; A-Z of Telecom Vocabulary;
all mounting to over 500 pages of course notes for N10,000.00
6. TRAINING NOTES IN C-D
A person who wants to purchase only the training notes in CD can do so
for N5,000.00 only.
7. USEFULNESS OF THE NOTES & C-D
A person who purchases either the notes or the CD may, after studying
the texts, apply to sit for the JOB PLACEMENT TEST and if he/she
scores 50% will be recommended to employers for job placement. He/She
however does not earn any certificate of proficiency.
